I never really sat down and thought about who I am. It’s an
interesting question we ask, and I wonder if we ever truly learn the
answer to it. But I’ll give it a try.
I was born on June 13, 1970. I know that year may seem pretty
ancient to most of you, but it only makes me 37yrs old. That probably
seems old too. But at least I’m not a 100 or something really old like
that! |
I grew up in Regina Saskatchewan. And this paragraph isn’t very
exciting because it consists of classes and credits. We’ll just move
on.
In my spare time I like to read. And yes I love to read
children’s books. I love Harry Potter (who doesn’t?) but there are
other children’s books I equally like. I think my most favourite author
would have to be Judy Blume. I remember curling up under my covers with
a flashlight and reading pages after pages until I could no longer keep
my eyes open. I went to bed with Judy Blume every night.
My favourite children’s book now is "The Anybodies".
I like to hang out with my friends and family. I like to swim,
sail, go to movies, go to the beach, play tennis. I pretty much like to
do anything new and exciting.
I am a hockey mom which sometimes makes me loud and annoying
and I like to brag about my children like every other mom out there
does! That’s why we are called moms!
In my quieter moments I sit down at my computer and write.
These are the times that I really let my imagination run wild. My
characters slowly become such a huge part of my daily life they burst
their way into my psyche and become my second family. A little strange.
Yes. But I think you have to be slightly demented (in a good creative
way) to be a writer. If you know anyone who is demented and they are
not writers, don’t hang out with them.
That’s pretty much me in a nut shell. A little nutty, but then
again aren’t we all. That’s what makes us so intriguing The nutty parts
about ourselves.
Drop me a line and tell me about yourself and your interests. I
would love to hear from you! Just click on my name and it will take you
to my email.
Hope to hear from you soon!
